The same six yards can feel completely different depending on the weave. Match the fabric to the occasion and the saree does most of the styling for you.
Everyday & work: cotton and linen
Handloom cottons and linens are light, breathable and easy to drape — perfect for long days. They crease a little, which is part of their relaxed charm.
Festive: silk and organza
For celebrations, a silk or organza brings sheen and structure. These hold a pleat beautifully and photograph wonderfully under warm light.
A note on drape
Stiffer fabrics like organza hold shape and volume; softer silks and cottons fall closer to the body. Choose the drape that suits both the event and how you like to move.
