The most stylish wardrobes are rarely the biggest. They're the ones built on a few well-made pieces that mix, layer and re-wear endlessly. A timeless ethnic wardrobe works the same way — start with honest fabrics and quiet silhouettes, then let colour and jewellery do the talking.
Start with the anchors
Every wardrobe needs anchors: a straight-cut cotton kurta, a well-fitting pair of palazzos or churidars, and one drape you love — a saree or a dupatta that elevates everything. Choose these in neutral, natural tones (ivory, indigo, terracotta) so they pair with almost anything.

Add colour with intent
